Let’s be honest. Working families have been hit hard by President Biden’s out-of-control inflation. Wages are stagnant, and costs go up every month. It’s not sustainable.

But thanks to the leadership of Speaker Mike Johnson, relief could be on the way soon. In recent weeks, the Republican-led House advanced a major tax package for everyday people by passing H.R. 7024, the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act. This legislation includes a conservative Child Tax Credit that will encourage family formation and provide needed support to parents.

The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act is a rare bipartisan win that is both pro-family and pro-growth. However, the Senate hasn’t yet moved forward on this bill.

All senators should demand that the Senate schedule a vote to pass H.R. 7024.

Instead of supporting American interests here at home, Leader Schumer is reportedly prioritizing another aid package for Ukraine. It’s time we first put American tax dollars back in the pockets of American taxpayers before we send more overseas.
