To Minority Leader Pelosi and House Democrats:

Too many of America’s children are still without loving homes. Amidst our nation’s opioid epidemic and other crises, faith-based adoption and foster care agencies are among the numerous groups providing critical services to parents and children, and yet, in many places, these same agencies are under attack for following their consciences. And although the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act would defend these agencies’ ability to continue their work, many Democrats have come out in opposition to the bill, while only one has co-sponsored it. Children should not be political pawns, and supporting faith-based foster care agencies should be a bipartisan issue.
