For decades, the vast majority of Americans have recognized the importance of providing women student athletes with a fair and equal playing field in competitive sports. This has also been explicitly protected under U.S. law since the passage of Title IX in 1972.

But now these protections are in jeopardy. Leftist Democrats, led by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, are pushing for policy changes which would allow biological male athletes who say they identify as “transgender” to compete against women. This is an affront to fairness and common sense.

I PLEDGE:

• To support the right of women student athletes to a fair playing field and equal opportunity to compete for scholarships and titles; and
• To oppose any candidate, platform or policy which would allow biological males to compete in women’s sports.
