APP Congratulates Tudor Dixon on Victory in Mich. GOP Primary
According to reports, Tudor Dixon has clinched victory in the Michigan Republican primary for governor. She will take on Democrat incumbent Gretchen Whitmer in the general election this November.
Dixon was the only candidate in the race to sign American Principles Project’s Big Family Pledge. APP’s affiliated super PAC also supported Dixon, running a digital ad campaign touting her as the best option for Michigan families.
In response to the result, APP President Terry Schilling released the following statement:
“We are excited to congratulate Tudor Dixon on her well-deserved win in tonight’s primary. Dixon was the obvious best choice in the race as a true champion for the family, and Michigan GOP voters recognized it.
“The bigger fight has just begun, however. The upcoming campaign between Dixon and Gretchen Whitmer will be one of the most important in the country this fall. Whitmer’s anti-family policies have been a disaster for Michigan, and we plan to highlight these issues prominently in the lead-up to November.
“Defeating Whitmer would be a huge boost for the pro-family movement, and we are confident Tudor Dixon is the candidate to do it.”
