Big Porn Defeated in Iowa:
Majority of states now have age verification laws
Iowa – The American Principles Project (APP) applauds Iowa for joining the majority of states in implementing age-verification legislation.
APP President Terry Schilling said in a statement:
“Iowa delivered a powerful win for families today with an age verification law that slams the door on children accessing online pornography. Age verification gives parents the tools to protect kids from the toxic filth that warps young minds. It is long past time for Congress to pass federal age verification to protect every child in America from online pornography.”
This pivotal legislation will protect vulnerable children from obscene online content which up until this point had been far too readily accessible to them. APP is thankful to Iowa for putting the health and safety of children over the financial incentives of these pornography companies. APP will continue to champion this kind of legislation in every state until all of America’s children are safe from this poison.
