APP Announces New Lobbying Effort Backing Sen. Kelly Loeffler’s Bill to Protect Women’s Sports
WASHINGTON — Today, the American Principles Project (APP) announced a new grassroots lobbying campaign educating Americans about Sen. Kelly Loeffler’s (R-Ga.) recently introduced Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act and urging them to voice their support for the legislation. The $450,000 lobbying campaign will include digital ad promotion, texting, and grassroots activism.
As part of this effort, APP released a digital ad today promoting Sen. Loeffler’s timely legislation aimed at protecting women’s sports.
Terry Schilling, executive director of American Principles Project, released the following statement on the campaign:
Women and girl athletes nationwide have a new MVP: Sen. Kelly Loeffler. By introducing the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, Sen. Loeffler, a former collegiate athlete, has taken a courageous stand against the Left’s attempts to undermine women’s sports, which are becoming more numerous every day.
Unfortunately most Americans, and especially the Senator’s constituents in Georgia, are likely to get a biased version of this story from the establishment media—if they hear about it at all. That’s why we are launching this campaign to tell America the truth about Sen. Loeffler’s important effort and encourage them to sign our petition supporting her legislation.
We are proud to stand with Sen. Loeffler in the fight to defend the right of female athletes to a fair playing field.
