APP Congratulates J.D. Vance on Ohio Primary Victory
According to reports, J.D. Vance has been projected the winner of the Republican nomination for Ohio’s U.S. Senate election. He will face Democrat Tim Ryan in the general election this November.
In March, Vance signed American Principles Project’s Big Family Pledge, promising to support efforts to defend women’s sports, prohibit dangerous sex change procedures on children, remove critical race theory and gender ideology from schools, restrict underage access to porn, and protect life at all stages.
In response, Jon Schweppe, APP’s director of policy and government affairs, released the following statement:
“We are excited to congratulate J.D. Vance on winning tonight’s primary in Ohio. Vance is a stellar candidate whom Ohio families can trust to fight for them in Washington.
“In signing our Big Family Pledge, Vance has committed to combating the woke left’s worst assaults on families, and we have no doubt he will follow through on this promise. This was also a smart campaign move as issues like defending girls’ sports and halting child sex changes have overwhelming support among voters and expose the extremism of Democrats.
“Vance will be an excellent pro-family leader in the Senate, and we strongly endorse his candidacy. We look forward to working with him to achieve victories for American families in the next Congress.”
