Senate Democrats traded away billions of dollars in healthcare relief to American families in order to satisfy transgender activists on Thursday, voting down the Health Care Freedom for Patients Act on a party line vote.

American Principles Project President Terry Schilling issued the following statement:

“Democrats robbed Peter and his family to pay RuPaul. Liberals have sacrificed billions of dollars in vital pro-family health care funding to ensure that taxpayers pay for children’s sex changes. Democrats have made their priorities clear. Voters should do the same in 2026,” Schilling said.
