Why We’re Doing It
Female athletes deserve safety, privacy, and a fair shot at competition. But radical ideologues are undermining all three by forcing women to share the playing field, the podium, and even the locker room with men. Meanwhile, the left is pushing legislation to force these dangerous policies nationwide. For once, the vast majority of Americans agree – this is an outrage. Women’s sports are for women.
That’s why APP has been advocating to protect women’s sports and personal private spaces for nearly a decade. Over that time, 27 states have joined us in protecting the next generation of female athletes, passing legislation banning men from competing in women’s sports. APP is actively working at the federal level to extend these commonsense protections nationwide.
Girls should grow up knowing they can compete, train, and win without having to share a locker room or the podium with a man.
