Why We’re Doing It
Transgenderism is perhaps the greatest lie told to this generation, taking vulnerable and suffering children and convincing them they were born in the wrong body. Doctors and activists are pushing children and their families into dangerous, expensive, and life-long treatments that scar their bodies, imperil their mental health, and risk serious long-term consequences. Every year, detransitioners come forward with stories that show a medical field unwilling to address root issues, instead hastily pushing children and young adults towards expensive and unhealthy surgeries and drugs. Not only are these doctors getting away with it, they’re getting rich – what used to be considered a “fringe” movement has now capitalized on countless vulnerable children and grown into a $4 billion dollar industry.
This is absurd – children should not be given puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or irreversible surgeries before they’re even old enough to vote. That’s why APP is dedicated to protecting children from the lie of transgenderism. Since 2019, 27 states have passed laws prohibiting sex change procedures for minors. It’s time for Congress to heed President Trump’s call and end this barbaric practice in all 50 states.
We can’t allow our kids to be sterilized and mutilated just so the Gender Industrial Complex can make a pretty penny. True love is stepping into our children’s lives and leading them to the truth: they are perfect just the way God created them.
