American Principles Project PAC Endorses Jon Hansen for South Dakota Governor
Sioux Falls, S.D. – May 26, 2026 – American Principles Project PAC (APP PAC), the political action committee of the nation’s premier pro-family advocacy organization, today announced its endorsement of South Dakota House Speaker Jon Hansen for Governor.
“South Dakotans deserve a governor who will stand firm against the cultural left and put parents and kids first. Jon Hansen is that leader,” said APP President Terry Schilling. “Jon Hansen is leading the fight to protect South Dakota families and has always been a champion for President Trump’s America First principles. Hansen fought the left’s anti-family agenda when other Republicans cowered. Jon Hansen will ensure that South Dakota is one of the best places in America to raise a family.”
Hansen signed APP’s pro-family pledge and has sponsored key legislation to protect children, including measures to ban the chemical and surgical mutilation of children. APP PAC is investing significantly in advertising to support Hansen’s campaign and amplify his strong record on parental rights, life, and protecting children from irreversible harm.
