Terry Schilling in Indianapolis Star on Judge Amy Coney Barrett

Barrett became the choice of many social conservatives for the Supreme Court as a young female with strong religious views who honed her judicial philosophy clerking for Antonin Scalia.

“She’s battle tested. We know where she stands on a lot of the key issues that the grassroots care about it,” said Terry Schilling, executive director of the American Principles Project. “And she’s confirmable.”

“All of them have great records and they’re all conservative,” said Schilling, whose group has helped gather more than 40,000 signatures in support of her nomination. “It’s just a matter of whether or not they want to be overt in declaring war.”
