Travis Sterling is a native of Salisbury, Maryland. The son of a pastor and a social worker, he grew up exposed to the importance of serving his community. Mr. Sterling attended Salisbury University to study International Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution, and first became involved in politics in 2010 after volunteering for the election campaign of Representative Andy Harris (R-MD). This sparked a passion for political engagement, which took him to Virginia, Illinois, Louisiana, Georgia, Montana, California, and Minnesota, where he spent time working on state and federal level races. Mr. Sterling moved back to Washington in 2019, and now serves as Director of Development for APP.
