Emily Hargan

Director of Development

Emily Hargan is the Director of Development at the American Principles Project. In this role, she coordinates all the fundraising efforts to support the organization.

Emily has worked for over twenty years in advancement and fundraising in public policy and politics. She has spoken numerous times on fundraising topics to state and local political groups and has served on several finance committees for presidential and gubernatorial campaigns.

Emily is a native of North Carolina and graduated with honors from the University of Virginia. She has continued her professional education at the Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and at the University of Chicago’s Kellogg School of Non-Profit Management.

Emily lives in Arlington, VA with her husband and two sons.
