OBAMACARE COULD FUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD TO TEACH SEX TO OUR SCHOOLCHILDREN

"The President's Health Reform Plan has a $50 million campaign payback for Planned Parenthood sex education", says Andy Blom. "We must stop this and protect our children!"

Among the “Other Provisions” established by Title V of President Obama’s health care plan is a program called “School-Based Health Clinics” (or “SBHCs”). This program would allow organizations such as Planned Parenthood - the largest abortion provider in the United States - to provide “on-site” services to schoolchildren. The SBHC program would receive up to fifty million taxpayer dollars in the next year alone, and the criterion for awarding these federal grants would heavily favor organizations such as Planned Parenthood. Among the “comprehensive primary health services” these SBHCs are tasked to provide are “[mental] counseling” and “social and age-appropriate health education services” -- another name for sex education.

“There is a frightening disconnect between what American parents believe their children should be taught about sex and by whom, and the liberal, even promiscuous sex education the Obama administration wishes to inflict upon our children through Planned Parenthood”, stated Andy Blom, Executive Director of the American Principles Project and American Principles in Action.  “But this goes beyond sex education. This is opening the doors of our schools and their health programs to the nation’s largest abortion provider.”

Planned Parenthood has been in the national spotlight numerous times in recent years for protecting sexual predators, violating laws designed to protect the innocence of children, misappropriating federal money and overcharging for services.

Planned Parenthood has attempted for some time to establish a presence in American schools to carry out their agenda of universal access to contraception and abortion services and has already begun to train “hundreds of teen educators” to administer these SCHCs if Obama’s health care plan passes.

“Planned Parenthood, and in fact the entire abortion industry, were major contributors to the Obama Presidential campaign”, noted Blom. “This campaign payback is nothing more than a stealth bailout of Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. It’s shameful that the President would pay his campaign debts by sacrificing the innocence of our children, the rights of parents and the lives of the unborn babies who will fall into Planned Parenthood’s trap in this program.

“In a year of moral and economic disaster this may be the worst abuse yet of our trust and our tax money”, continued Blom. “As a nation, we owe it to our children to preserve innocence”.

“President Obama’s Health Care plan threatens babies through Government mandated, taxpayer funded abortion. It threatens parental rights, pre-teens and teenagers through Planned Parenthood SBHC sex indoctrination. It threatens the elderly and disabled through rationed health care and end-of-life “Death Panels”.
